The Albany Historic Carousel & Museum runs on the heart, time, and expertise of our volunteer board, our advisory artists, and our small but mighty staff. Together with hundreds of community volunteers, this team keeps the carousel turning, the gift shop stocked, the café running, and our story shared with every guest who walks through the door.

None of this would be possible without our 550+ volunteers, who give 60 to 80 shifts each week and have contributed more than 62,000 hours to date. They carve, paint, operate the carousel, staff the gift shop, pour coffee in the café, lead tours, greet guests, and bring this community treasure to life every single day.
